Anabolic Cooking is a program for man and woman that will teach you which food is the best for muscle-building and fat-burning, and show you that healthy meals can also taste great. It contains over 200 anabolic recipes. Nutrition is the most important part of building a muscular physique. Even if you are on the best training program possible your muscles won’t grow by themselves and the fat is not going to fall off. Without nutritious food in the right quantities, even the most intense workout or cardio session will not give you results. Even if you are not a cook and don’t care about becoming one there are many nutritional habits that you can learn. I like that instructions for preparing meals are simple and practical and can be easily followed even if your only cooking skill is making an omelet.

The book begins with an inspirational story like most of them. That doesn’t mean that it isn’t true, but that is standard procedure and people like it. Then the good stuff begins. First is breakfast which is heavy in protein and fiber. In this section of the cookbook, you’ll find recipes such as Reese’s style oatmeal, high-protein pancakes, Mexican breakfast omelet, or vanilla-blueberry muffins. The standard breakfast includes food like sliced bread, pancakes, cereal, and fruit juice. All these items cause an energy spike over the short term and an energy crash shortly after. The next chapter gives you recipes for preparing Chicken and poultry, and you will find stuff like Italian chicken parmesan, tangy Thai chicken, Dave’s famous turkey meatloaf, or even chicken pizza. The focus of these meals is primarily on protein. These meals are ideally eaten before a workout. The point of is to minimize carbohydrate intake as to utilize body fat as the primary source of fuel during a workout. Then there is red meat and pork recipes. The recipes feature an increase in carbohydrates and are suited towards post-workout meals. The red meat provides a natural source of creatine and the carbs provide a rejuvenation of the muscle glycogen lost during a workout. Fish and seafood are in the next chapter. Fish provides a source of fatty acids and muscle building nutrients that are not found in poultry and red meat. In next section of the cookbook, there are a number of recipes that make it easy to incorporate delicious salads into your meal plan. Dave tells about the importance to include vegetables in your every meal. “Snacks and Bars” are the section of the cookbook which provides you a list of recipes for the between meals time.

There is a section on grocery shopping and meal preparation. In the meal preparation section, he goes over the organization techniques to prepare all his meals for the week within 3-4 hours on a Sunday. Then there is kitchen supplies section to make the process of cooking convenient. Dave talks about the 90% rule of eating healthy, and your four cheating meals a week.

As a strong believer that bodybuilding and fitness nutrition doesn’t have to be plain and boring… without spending more time in the kitchen than you normally do, you can have meals that are full of flavors and taste great. Muscle Building Nutrition doesn’t have to be boring and only composed of boiled chicken breasts, baked potatoes, and broccoli. All the recipes you will find in this book respond to 3 specific criteria: they are all easy to do, full of flavors, and will promote muscle building and fat loss… all 200 of them.
Anabolic Cooking is a well-written cookbook for bodybuilding and general fitness. It is a great tool for any man or woman arsenal and it would greatly improve anyone’s nutrition and overall fitness. You really can’t out-train a bad diet, so it is a good choice for a few bucks. Many people associate diet plan with a short-term eating plan designed for fat-loss, which will give you some results in a short-time, but after the diet is over you will return on your old. It is a program designed to reprogram your eating habits and align them with your goals which can be muscle building, fat loss, or both.

With Anabolic Cooking Book you will get the knowledge to be able to get in the shape enjoyably, without a plain and boring eating schedule with same chicken and rice 20 times a week. The focus of this program is on muscle building nutrition.
